I'm not fond of beaches. If I were asked which do I prefer, Mountain tops or Beaches? I'll answer Mountain tops for sure. There are so many things I don't like about beaches, for example is having sand on my wet feet and salt water stinging my eyes when I go for a dip. Though I guess I really am changing, because last weekend I went to Anvaya Cove in Bataan with Anton and his friends from highschool. I had sooo much fun, that I seem to have forgotten my non-fondness of beaches :)

Anvaya Cove is in Morong Bataan, which means we have to pass through a mountain with bumpy roads that has no lampposts and loads of dangerous cliffs (though obviously, nothing bad happened because I'm still here  blogging about le trip :> ). The trip going to Anvaya itself was fun already because I'm in the company of fun people who are very accomodating and friendly :)

By the way , Anvaya is such a beautiful place! There's just so much to do in that serene haven; whether you want to swim in the beach or at the pools, play indoor games such as Air Hockey and Table Tennis, chase ducks or eat at their restaurant :) I'm very amused by the fact that there are water stations with cold water in almost every corner, just shows that there's no reason for someone to get dehydrated thanks to the intense summer heat. However, the sad part would be the fact that to be able to go to this gorgeous sanctuary (btw sorry for not taking pictures of the place) you have to be a member, and the membership fee is... well, forget about it :| Though, if you're rich and willing to burn extra moolah, I suggest you go for it ;)

I recently learned how to make gifs :)) It's great because I've been wanting to make one, because I love those kooky funny gifs that turned into memes in Tumblr. Anyway, I think I'll be making more later :)))

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! I got so hooked with these Photo editing apps in Google chrome, that I seemed to have added some 'touche' to my photos :) Pixlr-o-matic is sooooo easy to use! It's like instagram, only it's not as mainstream as instagram (WAHAHA! Hipster pala eh noh). Another is Picnik, which is easy to use as well :) I'm in love with these apps ♥♥♥

I admit I'm a loser when it comes to Adobe Photoshop and other editing software, so these apps really are my saving grace when it comes to adding shizz to my pics :) anyway, here are my new creations :))) :

I got so hooked with the song Somebody I used to know by Gotye, and got reminded of the past and sheesh. I'm not bitter anymore about whatever happened before (PEKSMAN). It's just that listening to these kinds of songs that makes you encourage to acknowledge the pain you had before (GUMAGANUN),therefore now that you have gotten over it you realize how strong you have been thanks to that painful memory.

It's painful to be suddenly cut off from somebody's life... but then again, sometimes it's all for the better :')

Nicoco♥

Awhile ago our professor in Political Dynamics subject finally returned our prelim papers, which was submitted a month ago. Everyone had a rough time with our prelim paper which is where we were tasked to cite a fundamental flaw we observed in one of the 3 departments of the Philippine government, namely Legislative, Executive, and Judicial.

Aside from citing a fundamental flaw, we must make sure to back it up, not only by paper, but by defense as well. Our defense was way back in the 3rd week of January, and I remember being called 2nd to the last. It was nerve-wracking, since you have to defend what you've written in front of a LEGIT attorney (as you can see, our prof is a lawyer and actually works AT THE supreme court at daytime). It felt as if we're in the court, and we have to prove him we're innocent :))

So, about awhile ago our professor told us that there were only 5 students in our class who had received a grade line of 9 (or equivalent to an A or 90) in our paper. When he said that there were a lot who failed, I felt that I was one of those who failed, so I diverted my attention into doodling stupid things. While I doodle, our prof started telling us clues about the person with the highest score. He told us that he knows this student very well (which made me think even more that it's not meeee).
Our professor called the person with the highest score (which is 96), not by his/her name, but by his/her studentnumber. So when he said :"2009005684", I checked my ID first to confirm if it's really me...

... HEY IT REALLY IS MEEEEEEEEEEE!

He commented that my paper was well written and I have good grammar (which made me snicker, I really don't know if he's being sarcastic or something). Also, I noticed that he put a cheery VERY GOOD on my paper :) It made me smiiiile! But that's not all, he gave me a reward! He gave me gift certificates from Starbucks (err, I'm not really a coffee person, and I don't like Starbucks cause I think it's overpriced), which I'll probably just give to someone else :)))
Overall, Leap Year is great :) (biglang sumingit si leap year eh noh?) and good things happen when you work hard :) I swear, if I receive a flat 1 in this subject, I'll definitely pursue Law in the future ;) ...

... oh and GOOD THINGS happen when you have someone to help you :) THANKS TO ANTON for editing my paper BTW :))) HAHAHA

Love,

 Nicoco♥

Yesterday was University of Santo Tomas' Neo-centennial celebration, where the school is closing it's quadricentennial celebration and getting its game face on for the 5th century of my beloved Alma Mater :) I remember how last year's opening took my breath away, and surprisingly the closing took even my sanity away... LOL :) We had the 40,000 voices where the whole Thomasian community sang Philippine folk song medley, and even an Abba medley :))Also, we were given free shirts (lololol). All in all it was very fun, and it is the first time me and 3 of my friends ( Zai, Trizia, and Fatima) are complete in a school celebration :)))
