It was last Friday, where I get frustrated and confused once again (Bwahaha, andrama leche). Baket nga ba? It was because it was that day when my co-interns and I were tasked to go to House of Laurel to assist a fitting in preparation for BenchxRajoLaurel fashion show this Sunday for The Philippine Fashion Week. Anyway, here are the photos I took :)

Joey Mead is sooooooooooo tall! I look like a dwarf next to her =))

Wore my favorite Forever 21 dress and beanie :)

By the way, what was I talking about regarding frustration? Oh yeah, frustration because I suddenly got confused once again about my career path (Andrama talaga sorry hahaha). I thought I'll be better off as a lawyer (because of le sign), suddenly I want to go for Advertising, then I'm starting to love events management even more, and now I want to be a designer :))) Gawin ko nalang kaya lahat noh? Multitasking na parang walang bukas lang! HAHAHA! I guess I just have SOOOOO much interests that it just adds the confusion on which career path must I take.

But then again, I'm still young. I'm only 19 and I still have a lot years to figure it out :) Oh I'm blessed!

Love,
Nicoco♥

P.S.
Ang kasalukuyang ganap: Windang windang din para sa fashion show ng mga beckies bukas sa Philippine Fashion Week! Tarosh!

This is a late post, about two weeks late! HAHAHA! Last May 8,2012 was the start of the Make your own Havaianas event and at the same time marks the 50th Anniversary of Havaianas, which was held at The Rockwell Tent in Makati. I was there at the event as a part of my internship job for Saga Events... and WOW! Who'd have thought that you could actually mix business with pleasure?! HAHAHA! Anyway, here are the photos (I took and pilfered from my friends :> haha)  from that event:

Before:

'Hagardous Versoza' job that definitely has its perks!

Feet!

After:

Music was provided by Tribu Manila

With Saga co-interns Selena and Phil :)

HAHAHA! I look meh next to Gino Quillamor :)

With Phil, Kathy and Noel :)

First of all the 'after' photos are from Philats my love (Thank you Philly :3 ).

I must say I enjoyed this event, despite being just a part of the productions-and not as a guest. I figured, that by doing all the messy tasks during events, I'll get to appreciate events more, especially someday when I really get to be the guest ;) HAHAHA! Nonetheless, I love events! Be it I'm the guest or production assistant :)

Love,
Nicoco♥

P.S.
Can't wait for BenchxRajoLaurel and BenchxMichealCinco this Sunday ♥

...though if another door is still unlock, search for an open window ;) I've been on a hiatus for about two weeks, because our house was renovated. Why didn't I use a laptop? Because I feel comfortable in the company of a trusty desktop, and well, le computer was disassembled, so yeah =)) Anyway, enough of my quite-so-petty reasonings, let's proceed to what I want to do...and that's to share useless random photos I took during the 1st and 2nd week of my Internship at Saga Events...

with Kid model, Leila :)

Leila and bibi Danae

I just realized that internship is no joke... NO JOKE! The company that I'm at is into events management, which means everyone in that company is expected to be flexible, has grace under pressure, street smarts, and lots and lots of confidence. So far, I was tasked to do liquidations for our bosses (where I had an R and R with receipts and loads of scratch paper), man the reception area, search for possible event venues, assist Go-Sees, help designers during fittings, be a runner and deliver things and a whole lot more.

So far, I've learned the importance of being attentive and initiative. Our bosses assume that their interns have to be into details to have the initiative to do things without being told to. Most mistakes are not tolerated, so you better really do things as perfect as possible-sounds scary right? Quite. However, I've kept in mind that there will be worst experiences to come once I start working, so this OJT is a great experience to be better. Yehey!

Love,
Nicoco♥

P.S.
I'm sorry if I sound dazed... :))

2 weeks from now, it won't be summer *cue sad emo music*. It also means that 2 weeks from now, I'll be starting my second to the last term in college... in my schooling days! HAHAHA!

Anyway, yesterday was a very fun day, of which I spent with Anton and his family...and loads of food. But before we go to Greenbelt Chancellor in Makati, we first had lunch at Pan de Americano in Katipunan (as seen at le first photo). After the very affordable yet delicious lunch (Anton's mom can't believe that our bill is just 300 pesos), we finally head over to Makati (and the traffic going there from the north is horrible). We simply spent the day soaking ourselves with the pool's cool water. Then after swimming, we go up to his cousin's unit and eat more =))) Summer is incomplete without food and swimming, right?

Love,
Nicoco:)

P.S.
By the way, all photos are courtesy of Anton's mom :) and, about the title... listen ;)

Yesterday was my 2nd day at Saga Events for my OJT (yup, di ako tanggap sa SPACE eh LOL) and it was fun yet exhausting (most probably because of the hagardous versoza commute). Me and my co-interns were tasked to assist a go-see for kid models at The Ramp Shangri-la for The Ramp's Philippine Fashion Week Fashion Show, and it was good because I finally learned how it is done. Anyway, while waiting for more kid models (which are all so cuuuute!) to go and register, I decided to roam around the spacious boutique, and decided to settle down a bit at the home department :)

 Pretty Fake  Tulips

I'd like to have one in mint green, kaso di ko sure kung merun dila ;)))

Hirap palitan ng cover nito pag nagbakbak, kaya siguro 20 percent off HAHAHA

 Dumihin 'to for sure :|

ANIMALISTIC! WILD!

Regarding the title, it has something to do with the fact that my parents are planning to 'prettify' chos our house, and tasked me to make the plan. With that responsibility, it just added flame to my frustrations about being an interior/fashion designer HAHAHA! Well, with or without an Interior designer license, I'll definitely be doing a whole lot of styling for my future dream house ;) teeheee

Love,
Nicoco♥

P.S.
When one door closes, another one opens ;)
